Refined minimalism. Wood, stone and brass

Area 197 m²
Art director Ilyas Khalitov
Interior designer Elena Usacheva

At Mostman, refined minimalism takes shape through tactile materials, carefully balanced proportions and soft light. Warm wood, deep stone tones and fine brass lines create an interior with a composed, expressive presence. There is a reassuring sense of substance and calm: a home that invites you to stay a little longer.

The space reveals itself gradually, from broad architectural planes to wood grain, the curves of furniture and small glints of metal. A restrained palette allows each texture to be appreciated. Grey and dark tones gain depth beside warm wood, while muted green brings a gentle, living note to the composition. The space invites a lingering look, a touch, an awareness of how the light changes throughout the day.

Materials set the tone

Stone forms the expressive heart of the shared living area. Its rich pattern is echoed by wood panels, brass lines and the soft volume of the sofa. Precise geometry gains warmth and a tactile quality, giving the interior a distinctive character.

Scale is central to the composition. Broad stone surfaces meet fine metallic lines; flat planes sit alongside deep niches and textured fabrics. Brass draws individual details into a coherent pattern and catches the light gently. Wood gives the interior substance and warmth, while upholstered furniture softens its architectural precision. The sense of luxury emerges from these exact combinations, their measured rhythm and the confidence with which each material takes its place.

An intimate character

The study has a more focused, intimate mood. Wood surfaces, deep tones and light from the window create an atmosphere for concentration. Upholstered furniture brings a welcoming warmth to the room.

Daylight moves across the desk, concealed lighting reveals the built-in furniture, and wall maps add a personal, collected quality. Graphic lines meet soft upholstery. The study offers a quiet place for thought, conversation or a pause in a busy day.

Calm in the details

In the master bedroom, the palette feels especially enveloping. A dark headboard, warm surfaces and soft textiles create depth and a sense of privacy. Fine metallic accents give the quiet composition a precise finish.

Daylight reveals shades and textures; evening lighting leaves gentle shadows. The dressing table and mirror belong to the architecture, while pendants add a personal scale. This is a place to slow down, gather your thoughts and bring the day to a peaceful close.

One coherent design language

The same character continues through the details of the interior: the pattern of cabinetry, reflections, material junctions and concealed doors. Stone, wood and metal form a consistent palette that connects the spaces and gives the whole home a sense of unity.

Thoughtful storage sustains a sense of order. Built-in cupboards and simple fronts leave space for everyday life, while household functions have their own carefully organised setting. This practical side of the project contributes to its visual calm.

Mostman is an interior with a confident, restrained character. It invites a closer look: a warm gleam on brass, the depth of a stone pattern, the softness of fabric. Expressive materials and precise details create a sense of quiet luxury that accompanies everyday life at home. The gallery presents visualizations of the interior design project.
